Emma leads the Economics, Regulation and Policy practice at EY in Canberra. EY is a large multinational consulting firm and Emma leads a dynamic and high performing team of economists and policy practitioners to solve complex problems for government and private sector clients.
Emma provides a broad range of economic and policy services that are customised for each client and include: cost benefit analysis, economic impact assessments, business cases and strategic policy analysis. Providing economic analysis to support informed and evidence based decision making is at the heart of Emma’s work.
As a consultant, Emma’s work is project based and spans a number of sectors including health, infrastructure, trade, tourism and agriculture. Emma has had the privilege of working with a range of government clients across local, state and federal government and a variety of sectors.
Emma has been an economic consultant in London, Kuala Lumper, Sydney and Canberra. Prior to consulting, Emma was a trade economist with the Australian Government and represented Australia at the WTO Doha Round of negotiations and the OECD in Paris.
Emma is a mother to three energetic, noisy, and very messy boys under the age of five and a passionate supporter of flexible working.
